Hey guys! Alyssa here. This is my first blog post so bear with me on this roller coaster that is about to happen…

I am currently a Senior at USI down in Evansville studying English and Marketing. My current goal is to end up in a marketing job (wherever that may be) and continue my glorious dog mom life here in Evansville while my boyfriend continues to finish his degree in Engineering.

So you may be asking, “What on earth is this girl doing making a sports blog?!?” Well, let me tell you, I am a sports FAN-A-TIC..

Anything sports related, I am already there. I grew up in a sports-centered and very active family. I have played basketball, volleyball, golf, and even dazzled in some color guard back in high school. I keep up on all things professional sports related and my favorite teams are the New Orleans Saints (go Drew Brees!), the Indiana Pacers, The Chicago Cubs (how about that 108 year curse?!), and the Chicago Blackhawks.

Currently, I am continuing my athleticism by running, lifting weights, and playing around with friends every now and then, but I am still heavily involved in fantasy teams and watching college or professional sports about every day that I can.

This blog is mainly for one of my courses here at USI but I am hoping to get a lot out of it and see another way I can fit my talents of English and Marketing in with my forever love of sports… Happy Reading!!
